PEMBUATAN DAN PENDAMPINGAN APLIKASI ABSENSI BERBASIS QR-CODE DAN EVALUASI NILAI SISWA UTS-UAS DI SMP NEGERI 1 DAN SMP NEGERI 9 MANADO

Abstract

The current development of information technology has advanced significantly and has entered various sectors, including social, cultural, and educational areas. Many educational institutions, both private and public, have utilized technology to support the educational process, making student administration more efficient and effective. SMP Negeri 1 Manado and SMP Negeri 9 Manado are two schools with a total of more than a thousand students from grades VII to IX. Unfortunately, the administration and documentation processes, such as student attendance and grade evaluation, are still carried out manually using Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Word, leading to frequent errors in data entry and calculations during the grade evaluation recapitulation process, both for mid-term and final-term exams. Therefore, in this community service, an integrated database system application will be developed, connecting QR-Code-based attendance via Android with student grade evaluations, which can be inputted by teachers, and the grade recapitulation process can be done quickly, minimizing errors in grade calculations. The target output of this system is that parents can directly receive student grade evaluations and attendance records through the student's Android smartphone without having to come to the school. During this service, teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Manado and SMP Negeri 9 Manado will be trained on how to use the website dashboard.
